New Girls Basketball Coach

Somerset Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Gary Abbott as our new girls middle and high school basketball coach.

Mr. Abbott brings with him an extensive record in both playing and coaching. He was in education for 33 years at Wayne Co, Monticello School, Clinton Co, and in Memphis, TN. He has also coached for 27 years not only in girls basketball but also boys basketball, volleyball, tennis, baseball, softball, and football. In 2021, Mr. Abbott was inducted into the 12th region girls hall of fame as well as the Clinton Co high school hall of fame.

Mr. Abbott is married to Regina. They have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.
