Last week, Kentucky hosted the Inaugural Civics Bee. Through an essay competition middle school aged students were chosen to compete in this tournament. Charleston Girdler was a top 10 finalist from over 200 middle school students across the Commonwealth.
On May 14, Charleston traveled to Frankfort where the top 10 finalists competed in 3 rounds of the live Civics Bee Championship. She represented SCS well with a top 3 finish. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement.
