A letter from Mr. Hale

I am sending this letter to announce my retirement as Principal of Somerset Christian School. I have been working with the Pastor’s Council on a retirement plan for over a year. The Pastor’s Council has been praying and seeking God’s guidance in the selection of my successor and God has rewarded their efforts. God is so good.

My time at Somerset Christian School has been the most rewarding of my 49 years in education. I have tried to give all my energy to organizing and improving this remarkable school. I feel that organization was my gift from God to use at this school. Everyone here has been a joy to work with. Students, parents, and staff have always been so supportive and encouraging that I stayed much longer than I should have. My efforts have been rewarded in the accomplishments of our students.

I will continue to serve in an advisory role when we return in January and I will assist in the transition of the school. More information on our new leader to come. I will only assist in the transition for a few weeks and then ride off into the sunset… or snow depending on the weather that day.
